There are frequent Trains from Rome to Naples with no real need for Reservation unless you are using the Eurostar or Eurostar Alta Velocita services.No advanced reservations required for Capri or other Ferries/Hyfrofoil just turn up and buy your tickets at the kiosks on the pier.There are passes available that include travel on SITA buses and trains.Pasteum is reached by train from Naples or Salerno or by SITA bus from Salerno (you can take the ferry to Salerno and walk the short distance to the Bus stop).
