One of my very favorite places to eat in Waikiki (and probably the cheapest!) is the Aloha Broiler in the International Market Place. Excellent chicken/ahi/pork skewers with noodles.

And a word to those seeking cheap eats: the portions at Hawaii kine drive-inns are huge. The other night I had dinner at the Ychiba Noodle House (highly recommended by the way) in Hilo and got the mini-plate of lemon chicken and chow mein and it was more than I could eat. In fact, my college-aged daughter and I usually share one mini-plate -- less than $5.00
