Could they have done it better? Yes.

Is it much better than nothing? Yes.

I find if I send to outlook, and open the ICS file; then modify the ending time of the flight to be correct; then send it again, and change the starting time of the return flight; it is not so bad.

MUCH better than me forgetting to put it on the calender like I did 3 weeks ago on return from SMF. Had Thursday flight, that I was at Airport on friday for.

This is where being nice to the agents, and bringing occasional chocolates; and so forth helps.

...now if the upgrades would start coming through on the dfw-smf route, that is a tough upgrade..

The Outlook (by trip) button just added to aa.com meets MY needs just fine, thank you. Though I wish it showed the precise minutes of the flight, not rounded to 15 minute increments.

I CAN see why there should be a SECOND button to send Outlook (by flight). And then I would REALLY want exact minutes!
