Where to go for white birch?

At first this may seem like an odd request...please bear with me, and forgive my cross-posting in the Canada forum too for similar advice.

I am a professional photographer who often works on assignments for specific clients; in this instance, I have a client asking for lots of black and white images of white birch forests in the snow.

I know these are readily available from Corbis or Getty Images, but being that I get paid only for work that I do, would like to satisfy his requirement.

Any idea where I could head this winter for such a thing? I've researched and read about northern Minnesota, near the border or Voyageur National Park; other suggestions?
