Does anyone out there know at what time
Northwest Orient Airlines became just plain
Northwest Airlines?
I remember flying them frequently in the
late 70s, early 80s under their NW Orient
name.
Maybe I am wrong but they operated like
NW domestically but NW Orient overseas?
I don't remember how ( or even if they had )
any European operations were run at the time.
I asked the PR department at NW and they
refered me to their website. But ( forgive
me ) I did not find any reference as to the
name change in corporate entity.
Any response is appreciated. I am getting
old and want to close all open ends if possible
before I lose it completely.
