In 2004 so far:

ATL-GRU-ATL - Upgraded both ways with PMU's. Outbound cleared three weeks out. The return never cleared, but when I got to the check-in counter I just handed the girl my certificate, and she listed & cleared me on the spot. So much for that 24-hour international upgrade rule.

ATL-SCL-ATL - Upgraded both ways with PMU's at time of booking. (three weeks out)

Upcoming ATL-GRU-ATL in March. Return cleared yesterday (using PMU), outbound waitlist closed.

Also flew these routes last year 8 times, and cleared all but one return from GRU.
