All US based airlines have pretty much the same standard for all international (transoceanic) travel in coach: 31-32" coach, food, $$ for booze, and IFE (personal screens if 777 or 764).

DL's product to Hawaii is lousy in all classes, pretty much the worst in the market.

Any international carrier is typically better than DL for any transoceanic trip, especially in coach.

That being said, if you fly on a US-based airline, you get the "luxury" of dealing with an American company in case something goes wrong. If you lose your bags, misconnect, etc, DL has a MUCH better track record for rectifying these situations than many international airlines.
