I think the reflections NYC folk are having about "why fly UA?" are the same reflections many of us who don't live in UA focused markets have been asking. I'm moving to TPA and most of my flying is domestic and to Latin America. I can't figure out what UA offers me, especially since I will be living in a TEDlocked city.

On a related note, I keep seeing how certain routes are profitable and others are not, etc. How do we as consumers and investors know which routes are profitable?
