A few years back I flew LAX-LHR on UA on Monday the 31st (i only know because i was just flipping through my passport and saw the stamp). Worst flying experience ever and it's the main reason I try and avoid flying United. It was like an 11:00 flight out of LAX, I was there at 8:30 since it was with the family and we had tons of luggage to check. 10:00 rolls around, they announce the flights delayed and continue to delay it until 3:30 PM when we board. We sit on the plane for two hours with no food or drinks (and they were telling us we were waiting for the pilot). We finally take off around 6 PM and to top it all off the TV's on the back of each seat on the 777 weren't working at all.
