I just flew out of DFW via the new E terminal placement this morning. Holy crud! I hated the old B terminal's worn out appearance and the incessant carts hauling lazy folks down the middle of the concourse. But at least you could breeze in, check in with the kiosk and get straight through security.

US is co-located with ATA in E; I got stuck in the security line with 58 people in front of me, perhaps one was on business, the rest were obviously tourists that were challenged with getting through security. I really have to rethink US for DFW/PHX given the new situation. I can't afford to lose time in a Heifer Hauler II situation where we're all in the same line and I have to waste 45 mins waiting for people that are challenged with listening to instructions and preparing for a security process. Perhaps AA is back in the picture for me for that crazy busy PHX/DFW/PHX route.

A side note: is there not a single person traveling on vacation that isn't the size of a house? No kidding, this was the main topic of discussion with a group business folks yesterday and the ATA pax line made it all too real.
