I'm planning a trip to NAS for my family and I from PHL. We have over 10 people going with us and I noticed that US Airways has a Group travel discount for parties 10 or more. What I'm nervous about it telling them the dates that I want to go and them artificial raising the prices so that the 10% discount isn't really a 10% discount. Also, they require you to book 60 days in advance to receive the 10% discount (30 days before receives 5%). What should I do? I usually like to wait to a month before to book the trip (we are going in November) because I find that that is when the best prices are. Should I book 60 days out and take the 10% or wait until 30 days take the 5% and hopefully have a cheaper airfare at the time? Anyone have any experience booking group travel through US airways. Any feedback would be helpful.
