I was just there for two weeks. Came back this past Monday. The place is great. I suppose if you got a room facing the construction site of the property next door, then you could have a problem, but I own oceanview there and have always gotten great views on a high floor, close to the ocean.

I like the beach there better than Ka'anapali proper, where all the hotels are. The reef is very interesting and if you prefer just sand, you can find that too just past the park next door. I have been spoiled by my timeshare there and no longer like to stay at the hotels. I really like having a whasher and drier in the room and also a refrigerator and kitchen. I had to stay at the Sheraton for a couple of nights since the airline connections didn't match my stay at WKORV. IMO, the Sheraton has the best location in Ka'anapali, with Black Rock right outside. I got upgraded to a nice oceanview suite, but still missed WKORV.
