Yeah, Frisco, Colorado, is just too far away. I'd only consider that if I were skiing/snowboarding in Breckenridge, Colorado (and, I wouldn't even have to do that, as I know people in Breckenridge). And, the aforementioned back road from Aspen, Colorado to Leadville, Colorado, is closed in the winter. At least I'm pretty sure it is. Even if it's not, it's not a drive you'd want to do in inclement weather in the mountains if you're not accustomed to such driving.
