Hi all,

My buddy and his gf are trying to get to Rome for a friend's wedding. I've been searching all the usual spots and have found fares in the $1,400 range. Just wanted to know if any of the flyers here had a suggestion / tip on getting a better fare - I know 1,400 is not bad but they just bought a house and are a little tight for cash. They can depart / return a day on either side of the 14th - 24th.

I recommended US due to AP points and IFE but they'd rather save cash than stick with *A.
