Does anyone know the regulations concerning what happened to Mr. Wetter? The fact is, when you gotta go you gotta go, and I did not know this could result in an arrest. I always see the UA FA's sending people back to their seats when the seatbelt sign is on, but what can you do when you have to go?
Reasonable people do not urinate in public.
I suspect the FAs would much rather have you in the lav with the seat belt light on than urinate in an airsickness bag in the cabin.
Personally, unless there were major bumps, I can't imagine this situation occuring unless the pax had some sort of disorder and hence should have planned accordingly with products made for such issues. Otherwise, a pax should be able to hold it until the seat belt light goes off - I've done it myself and I suspect many others can do it too. (
) Completely unacceptable in any case.
