I would like to attend, but it is not definite yet whether or not I can attend.
I had a really great time this past February. The weekend simply did not last long enough.
Some time needs to be taken out to visit
historic old Mesilla near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Also, some time should be spent at the lookout area on Transmountain Road for the view of El Paso at sunset.
Also, for those who wish to stay a few extra days, I recommend that they experience
White Sands National Monument and
Carlsbad Caverns.
White Sands looks like a snowstorm had just passed, but it is warm. Stay for the guided tour at sunset. One can even treat the sand as snow by “snow”boarding or sledding down the dunes!
Taking U.S. Highway 70 west from White Sands to Las Cruces through the scenic Organ Mountains is a must.
