Very nice write-up, though very sorry to hear about your experience with the Boston demons (especially since I'll be flying in and out of there later this year on AA for the first time!).

I'm a bit surprised by your description of the AA economy seat as surprisingly roomy. Had you not flown AA in economy before, so found that it was better than your expectations, or did the person in front of you not recline their seat, or might it have helped a lot that you had the row to yourself?
