I agree. While it looks like CEOs (not CEO's, btw) do "glamorous" things and don't do much work- that is not the case, in general. They're responsible for making the big make-or-break decisions. If they do the wrong thing, often they're out of a job. I don't get paid as much as our CEO, but I don't have that kind of responsibility, either.

If I don't react quick enough to that windshear warning, 50 people (or in a 777 captains case, about 250) wont be alive anymore. But I guess thats not a "make or break" decision
