If you use MEX you have no Customs or Immigration in Either Direction, also same Terminal.
YVR Reasonable Immigration proceedure and Airline Bag Transfer on UK Bound but messy on the return.
YYZ Forget it, Change of Terminal, Terrible Immigration and Customs both ways. Own Bag Transfer and buses which when the temperature 5F can be awful. Also possibility of short WestBound flight with no real time to sleep. Maybe OneDay YYZ .US arrivals will introduce a Snake Lane System instead of the Pick a Line Crap shoot. Have they never been to Disney World?
The bad News is that if you are flying from ORD , YYZ is of course the best for you.
