RB used to be the gay destination for everyone from DC, Balto & Philly but the town has really changed over the last several years. Don't get me wrong it is still very gay but the crowd has definitely aged over the last couple of years since the main dance bar (Renegade) sold. Most of the twink and wannabe circuit boys stay away now that the town doesn't have a big dance place for them. (unless they have some party at the convention center in town) Most people like myself own vacation/weekend properties there and head down during summer weekends to get away from the city.

The following is a short list of restaurants that are very good and very popular with locals and tourists:

Blue Moon - Upscale restaurant located on Baltimore Ave. Blue Moon also has a bar next to the restaurant that is very busy on weekends (especially during Happy Hour!)

Cloud 9 - IMHO the best restaurants in town located on Rehoboth Ave. Like the Blue Moon it also has a bar that is very popular.

Cultured Pearl - Asian and sushi restaurant on Wilmington Ave.

Dos Locos - Good mexican restaurant with reasonable prices on Wilmington Ave.

Cafe Sole - american cuisine located on Baltimore Ave. (NO reservations!!)

Other good eats include:
Back Porch Cafe - american cuisine
Jake's - Seafood
59 Lake - Steak and Seafood
Chez la Mer - american cuisine
Iguana Grill - Mexican food
Fin Bar - NEW british/pub cuisine place in town
La La Land

I would also check out: www.rehoboth.com for other restaurant listings and general info on Rehoboth.

If you want any other information on the bars, gay beach or anything else just PM me or ask here.
