Hi Randy,

Looks like you can fly on Cathay Pacific from SFO to Bangkok for $755 all-in. But must buy the ticket by the end of July and fly outbound before Nov. 30th. Looks like outbound on Nov. 28 and inbound on Dec. 27 are available.

If you friends have "fixed" dates this may not work for them of course.
