Easy. You give your BP to the G/A right? Guess what. They enter the row # / seat in the computer. ON the computer screen, it also shows extra information that would not be seen on the bp itself. Look at the G/A's eyes the next time you board.. and look at where their hands are-- the free hands are generally punching in the row/seat info as they process the people, if they do not use automated boarding pass processors.
