Yes, yes, yes! I know all about the "obviously people are buying or the fares would be lower" argument... But really. Looking to fly NYC-SNA 11/2 a.m. -11/5 noon, prefer JFK for p.s. but would do LGA via ORD/DEN. The fares are totally ridiculous,
double AA fares or more, and I'm talking about
non-p.s. flights connecting through ORD.
And the UA flights are spankin' wide open. I mean, only a handful of seats sold per flight. So this is clearly not a case of "the cheap seats have sold out"...this is a case of "there
are no cheap seats." Is this retaliation for the Great Transcon Fare Mistake? Yikes. AA wants $256; for $350 I go with UA, but $600+?!?
