Most of the train-related questions on FT are from travellers requesting basic information about ticketing and travel in foreign countries, so it would make sense to have all of these in one place. In particular, this would benefit FT's large American contingent seeking advice on train travel in Europe.
This would also allow airport-city centre transit discussion to remain in the destinations fora, which is the most logical place.
