Thank you for your email and first of all, please accepts our sincere apology for the long delay in replying your email.

We were having a major problem with our email last week and have caused of loosing our emails. We have our email up and running again this week and only to found out heaps of emails in our inbox. We have now still trying to clear out our pending emails.

We have noted your inquiry in regards of using your rewards night at InterContinental Resort Bali and please find our answer as below:


1. The point rewards can be redeemed only for our Resort Classic room and it is not applicable for our Imperial Villa. We do remember that your friend redeemed his points for the Imperial because at that time, we have done a mistake of allowing the point redemption for the Imperial Villa. We have fixed it now and therefore if you try to redeem your points for Imperial Villa online, the system will not allow you to do so.

2. The room category that you will be able to utilize is the Resort Classic room

3. If you would like to be upgraded into our Imperial Villa, you have to book the Imperial Villa itself because the room upgrade for Imperial is not applicable.

We hope that above information suffice to you and if you are interested to stay on our Imperial Villa, we have a special rate for you at USD 1,200 per night plus 21% Tax and Service charge. The rate is inclusive Club InterContinental benefits as attached.
