I was going to post this in OMNI but then I thought driving after an airplane trip is part of travel safety and security too. Maybe it was a one night thing (let's hope) or maybe not. They seem to have covered some distance rather quickly so maybe they are not just confined to this state.

State Police helicopters, tracking dogs and troopers joined a sweeping task force Sunday in the search for an unseen enemy -- the sniper who killed one motorist, wounded another and may have shot up two vehicles at a second location two hours away.
