Wow, I had that exact same problem about two weeks ago. Fare kept bouncing between $212 and $274 every time I clicked purchase or hold. Web Services had me put the reservation on hold as a full fare ticket, then changed the price and I completed payment online. Took about 20 minutes to complete the whole process. I had to clear my browers cache, try a different browser, etc. Kept doing the same thing!
