For my first touristy trip I choose the Mark Hopkins but did fall into kind of horror when I could not find my weekend certificate on checkin.

After finding it i went down with a lot of questions and noticed somebody else now at the guest relation counter in the lounge, somehow looking familiar. With me came down two little girls who handed over some envelope and it made click.

"You must be Ulysses" I said and he, looking a bit puzzled, said yes. Then I told him about flyertalk and especially about the thread in which also a nice photo was posted of him. He was very surprised and probably for a moment had a feeling like Will Smith in Enemy of the state - especially when I told him that I was surprised to see him here as I had read he was promoted to the office ;o)

You really should have seen the look on his face

I have now his personal email address and will mail him next the link to flyertalk ;o)) I think we then can expect a lot of people from the MH looking into this site
