I have the WRTP54G (v 1.0 I assume since it doesn't say anything else) that I just bought. The firmware is 1.00.62, should I find a way to flash to v4.0? If I flash with the HyperWRT (anything better come out recently?) are there any risks of it simply not working at all? My main worry is that I flash it and it isn't the exact right version of the WRTP54G* and hose the whole thing.

This was meant to replace my Airport Snow which is now 4 years old and 802.11B but the Airport's range was way better than this product. I only bought it becuase of the Vonage and WalMart didn't have a rebate.
