Welcome to the seamless oneworld reservations and ticketing system (sarcasm intended)! Qantas (Amadeus) uses a different system than AA (Sabre). It is often true that when you make a booking with Qantas, AA's system cannot see some or all of the booking and vice versa. And don't get me started about the (in)ability of a oneworld member to ticket a booking made with another oneworld member....
