Thanks everyone. We ended up doing Jet Blue to SJU and then Liat to GND for just about $900 total. I'm going to pray that hubby meets all his connections and plane switches (there are several)!

The problem seems to be the lack of flights actually going to Grenada... Would have loved the Carribean Star flight for $299, but they were quoting about 5 or 6 connections! Even with the Liat flights that we booked for a little bit more, there are about 2-3 connecting and/or stopover flights. I know AA has a direct SJU to GND flight, but they were all sold out for the time period that we were looking at. I think the key is book early next time.
