Air Canada employees will strive to ensure you and your checked luggage are transported on the same flights.

However, many factors, including weather and delays of connecting flights, may make this task challenging. For those times when you are separated from your baggage, we will do our best to ensure you are reunited with your bags.

External baggage name tags are sometimes detached, torn or lost making it difficult to locate the owner of the bag.

To facilitate the identification of the owner of the bag, Air Canada has created a baggage ID postcard template for our customers. We strongly encourage you to complete and insert this ID Postcard inside your luggage.

Please note that this ID postcard is not intended to replace the outside baggage tag that you should always affix to your bags.
