As it happens myself, mrs serfty, mini serfty and a niece were booked on QF188 in mid October. Us on revenue tickets and daughter/niece on points. 'twas an A333 and we had preallocated 23J/K & 24J/K. ^

QF188 no longer goes through to MEL and Qantas took the liberty of rebooking us on QF30, us in 38F/G and the 13 & 14yo girls in 66F/G.

Fortunately I was able to reallocate together in A/B/C/D up forward, but nothing like the great seating we had previously.

It was this thread that prompted me to have a look. I may not have checked for a week or so otherwise! (thanks beno...) Who knows what may have been available by then.
