For ~140k (can't remember the exact figure) you can fly from any US city, through HKG, to either Johannesburg or Istanbul (both about 10-12 hours from HKG) in CX First Class. I needn't say anything about CX FC, and it's one heck of a lot of flying for 140k miles.
