My first message on FT asking for advice.
We were planning to leave on Saturday July 29, decided to postpone due to health reasons. Nicolo is gone. No body taking his calls. We called Pepe, he said Alitalia is not authorizing any changes. We called Alitalia main reservation desk, we were told to call Orbitz. Orbitz said thay will change the tickets but asked us to return the paper tickets we hold. We are afraid to do so and cannot wait for Nicolo who returns after our scheduled departure.
Any idea. Please Help Thanks

Its important to understand that Nicolo is executing AZ policy. He is empowered to make one change on any given ticket. Beyond that one change, AZ has not given him the authority to make additional changes for any reason, at least up to this point. So, don't be sore at Nicolo if no further changes can be made.
Once he returns in early August, if the situation in the Mideast is such that it materially affects LCA, then I'm sure he'll let us know if there will be exceptions beyond one change allowed. But as most posters have been reporting LCA is not and has not ever been to any Mideast military actions, so don't be surprised if AZ does not grant additional changes.
