Furthermore, American Airlines has far and away the highest fatality rate among US major air carriers in the last five years with 428 fatalities in 4 seperate accidents (272 fatalities excluding 9/11). Compare that to Delta with zero fatalities, United with 110 fatalities in 2 seperate accidents (zero excluding 9/11), Continental with zero fatalities, Northwest with zero fatalities and US Airways with zero fatalities.
Perhaps a little more research might be useful before you throw out wild allegations next time.</font>
When you are the largest carrier in the US, Gee.. wouldn't you think that your casualty rate would be higher?? It's just common sense. Of course DL and NW and CO's fatality rates are lower, because their operations are smaller than those of UA and AA.
