Is the citibank gold MC worth it for the insurance?

I thought I'd share this spectacular piece of customer service from citibank:

Their junk mail:
"With FREE International Travel Insurance** which automatically covers ..."

"** International Travel insurance and purchase cover are underwritten by Zurich Australia Insurance ... and are subject to the terms and conditions and
exclusions contained in the policy of insurance"

Me:
I'll ring up and ask for a copy of these terms and conditions

Citibank call centre:
"We can't send you the terms and conditions till you take up the gold card"

So apparently, the travel insurance is an incentive for me to sign up, but I can't find out what it includes and excludes till I've handed over my money
