I think SQ F and C is much, much better than UA C and F.

I am considering switching completely to SQ for 2007 since i think they do a much better job of providing me with service than UA does. There are no matronas at SQ, they constantly take care of you -especially in F. My last meal at SQ F was composed of Iranian Caviar with vintage 1996 champagne (at $110 retail US) as a starter followed by Lobster Thermidor with a vintage 1994 Bordeaux red wine (yeah, i know that it's odd to have lobster and bordeaux but i really wanted seafood and the wine looked great...). I almost always have cheese and wine for dessert followed by a cappucino.

on UA i was treated to a shrimp starter paired with a sauvignon blanc (at $30 retail), they had champagne as well (at $35 retail). Main course was a filet mignon with side of vegetables paired with a 2003 beringer cabernet (not sure of pricing for the cab, but it was decent altough not quite a 12 year old vintage bordeaux). Cheese and icecream for dessert.

Pro UA: Warm nuts and channel 9. I also like the icecream
Negative: Service. i've been spilled on (wine and water), they've forgotten to serve me my order (how does this happen in intl' F?) and the movie selection sucks if you travel frequently.

Pro SQ: Service, i've never had anything i requested missed or forgotten. They go out of their way to keep things in order (folding blankets when i use the bathroom etc). Cappucino in the air is wonderful. Especially when you can choose from 4 different types of beans (i love coffee). SQ food is very high quality and impressive wine list. Lounges are outstanding, clean with good selection of food -especially F lounge in SIN.
Checkin is a delight. I've never waited in line at their F or C lines (the special F checkin in SIN is top notch). Movie selection is outstanding, and never any problems with the chairs or the entertainment system (UA can learn a thing or two here). Planes are clean. You get slippers (why did UA stop that?).

Negative: I don't care so much for the C chair at SQ. It's tapered towards the top and i have broad shoulders. It's tricky for me to find a good position in their C chairs. I really miss the icecream sundae that ua has. And they don't have channel 9...
