When I was working in San Luis Obispo the final LAX-SBP United express flight would leave early on me making me miss a connection that I was on time for. The LAX CS would give me 3 options...rent a car on my own dime, sleep in the airport, or wait an hour or (or two or three) until they could arrange a shuttle to drive me to San Luis (they would refund the ticket less the cost of the shuttle).
