I'm really high on Sofitel these days and I'm just a regular Privilege member. They always upgrade me and give me some amentiy in the room like water and fruit. Plus you get the free Champagne welcome drink and never a problem with a late checkout, even in Paris at the swanky Demeure Arc de Triomphe . The Grand in Amsterdam is my new favorite hotel in that city. The Dorints in Germany are very nice. On top of all that, their rates are pretty competitive in European cities.

I just have to decide if I'm going to go for the Gold level or not. Maybe I'll wait til the program changes next year.
