Kata Noi is as beautiful as it always was. The primary hotel on that beach - the Kata Thani has remodeled and upgraded - and sits right on the beach.

There are mixed reviews about the restaurants and bars in the immediate area - but is only about a five minute tuk tuk ride into the main part of Kata Beach.

I like the beach - great snorkeling at headlands on both ends of the bay.
