These days it never seems to matter anywhere. The term "FAST BAG CHECK" has become a joke as the staff allow anyone in the queue and I frequently stand there waiting for several minutes whilst some guy totally re-arranges his travel plans, etc in the FAST BAG CHECK queue with no boarding card. To me having a GOLD-SILVER-FIRST priority check in was a huge benefit and one they promoted.
