We have a similar issue, with different objectives.

We will be arriving on a Friday evening and leaving early afternoon the next day on our way to Sabah, Malaysia.

We would like to go to Zouk club (or maybe Centro) on the first night, and be close enough to Queen St terminal to take a bus to Johor Bahru on the day after. A pool would be a definite plus.

So far, the Rendezvous looks like a good choice, but I'm wondering about other options, possibly on the river.
