Very interesting and informative trip report. Got to wonder where you've been. Glad you got to experience Frontier. In the six times I've flown Frontier I have yet to be really disappointed. In fact no complaints about mishandled luggage or outlandishly late flights.

You didn't have any hot fudge sundaes on AA? No printed menus? No meals served in courses? FC on AA is not what it used to be. Of course AA no longer does LAX-CLE nonstop.

Glad that you enjoyed the baseball games. I just wonder how much a trip to the ballpark costs nowdays? That must have been exciting to see a walk-off homer win it for the Giants, the team that almost won the 2002 World Series!

You oughtta try jetBlue sometime if you haven't already. I've only done short flights with them (LGB-OAK and vice versa plus LGB-PHX) but have always been extremely pleased with their service and attitude. Too bad there is a limit to the daily flights out of LGB. If you want to go to the Bay Area again may I suggest PHX-LAS on HP or WN followed by LAS-LGB and LGB-OAK on B6.
