My 6-yr-old already has the bug too.
Her first flight was at four weeks old, from Majuro RMI to Honolulu, where we adopted her. Then from HNL to the east cost U.S. two weeks later. Then six months later a truly horrible flight back to HNL for a court date, on a decrepit Delta L 1011 - actually, three of them by the time we got to HNL 26 hours after scheduled 10-hour non-stop departure from Atlanta. Aloha to the Big Island and back for two weeks, then L 1011 again home, luggage later.

She's hooked for sure. Every time I travel she wants to fly.

True story: an officer on the third L 1011 from ATL-HNL, explaining why two had been taken out of service, told me they were going to retire the lovely but inefficient old Lockheeds because "we ran out of parts from the ones we have up on blocks in the back yard."
For my money, L 1011 had one of the most civilized main cabins of all time.
