I first got my card at the end of November, and since then, I've earned almost 50,000 miles just from using the card (that's not even including the bonus miles upon first signing up). I use it for all my business and personal expenses, though, so it adds up quickly.
But as others have said, the $50 companion certificate alone is enough reason to get the card.
