The negotiated settlement only affects the hourly wage. Many CAW employees are not at the top wage brackets (I would say over 50% are not at the top and this number will increase substantially as retirements are replaced with new workers) and only the top wage brackets will see the 1%, 1.75%, 1.75% wage increase. For all other employees they will get pay band increases and the negotiated settlement.
