Both my husband and I have AS Visa cards - they've been offered in Canada for coming up two years, I believe. We just used both of our companion certificates for non-stop to Miami for ourselves and friends for early December. It was a very good deal. We'll have two more to use for taking our two adult children to Vegas for a week in March - we're footing the whole bill for that trip so any reduction is welcome.

Their conversion charges are a bit steep, so we don't use it in the States as much as we might otherwise, but if we're conscious of using it for as much as we can, we can easily get enough miles for our bi-annual trip to Hawaii.

I wonder if the companion certificates will be useable if AS starts flying to Hawaii? Perhaps that has been discussed already and I don't mean to hijack the thread, but that would be quite a prospect!!
