Greetings - myself, Larsette, and 5-year-old Larsette Junior will be doing a Slavic sort of train trip this winter from Prague to Venice, over about 11 days visiting or at least passing by the following:

Bratislava
Budapest (likely will be there for New Year)
Zagreb
Ljublnaja (I will learn how to spell this by the time of the trip)
Trieste
Venice

I would welcome your thoughts on maximizing time allocations, particularly on whether to focus on Zagreb versus Llublnaja (or neither), and how much detouring thru Trieste will affect our travels...we have a soft spot for Trieste, as we wandered thru there when we were younger!
