I think he's saying the flight was 3 hours 10 minutes long (thus no food), and left at 5:00 pm. I do find it funny that airline food has gone from being a cliche for lousy food to a coveted item. The thought of going out of my way and connecting through DTW to get a lousy meal just doesn't compute to me. But, different strokes for different folks.

The USScare thing is just juvenile.
